GA: 1979 F150, D44 HP, D60, Flat Bed, Chopped Frame
This was originally a 1979 F150 2wd long bed.
The frame has been chopped, and wheel base has been shortened.
The truck has been converted to 4x4, It has a Dana 44 High Pinion Front Axle, Dana 60 Rear axle.
It has a 351 Windsor motor that runs fantastic. Cranks within 3-5 seconds every time without a choke. It has a new flowmaster dual exhaust. Runs great, sounds great. drives great. It will run 75-80 on the highway very easily.
It has a custom flat bed, its pretty well built. It has a custom tube front bumper. Built pretty well. Some sort of 4-6 inch front lift. The rear is also lifted, just unsure of what. It sits on 35s, they are BFG A/Ts. They aren't bald, but they don't have too much tread left.
The gears are stock, 3.54s. It has a front spool. With the manual hubs, in 4x4 its a badass offroad. This truck has been driven to Tellico, wheeled schoolbus and lower 2 and driven home.
I love this truck. Its sort of my dooms day, zombie killing, if USA gets nuked I'm going to survive vehicle. Its rough and tough. Its OD green. It rides like a Mac truck. But damn if it doesn't serve its purpose.
Asking price is 2200 OBO. I want this gone. I have a new project in mind.
