    Default 1997 Ford F-150 3,000 FIRM

    My sister's truck for sale or trade. It is a 1997 short bed F-150. It has the 4.6 litre V8 that runs great. Automatic transmission that shifts smoothly. Interior is in good condion, has sony expode CD player and pioneer speakers. Power windows, locks and seat controls. Cold air, and hot heat. Exterior is pretty good condition, small scratches and things that are expected from a 97. Sliding back window. Tires are at about 50%. The only really bad thing is the miles on it. 180k miles, but runs PERFECTLY. Would not hesitate to drive this truck anywhere. I am handling the sell/trade, but must get approval from her since it is her truck.

    Definitely not a project car. It's my DD and I hate to part with it, but I need a tow vehicle like yesterday. Only thing "wrong" with it is that the AC needs a charge and the interior carpet is missing in the front. Other than that it's a cleeean car. It may or may not come with the spoiler that's on it now on it... as far as I know, the spoiler on it is the only one in the country, and I'm reluctant to part with it.

    It's got sleepy eyes on it now which I can happily remove if she wants (reconnect the wire lol)

    Here's some pics.. the wheels are Voxx T209 17x7's all the way around with damn good tires. It does have a welded rear diff, but I can see about getting an open one if sliding isn't her thing. The car has never been slid at an event.. little bit of practicing but nothing hardcore.


    (I have the red lens that goes over that rear light, just haven't put it on yet)




    ^^ that small dent by the tail light is the only cosmetic blemish on the car, and it's barely noticeable.

    Like I said, that spoiler may or may not come with it.. I've never found another one like it. If I take it off, I'll put a factory spoiler on so you're not left with holes.

    K. It is slightly modded (head unit, wheels, welded diff, s14 DE swap with under 100k, cold air intake, and I'll throw in a header, and the spoiler which I'm still undecided on). If I was patient I could probably get close to what she's looking for for the truck as a sale price on it.

    These 4.6 are known to spit out spark plugs an either a Heli-coil coil or head needed to be repaired..I am curious of either had to be done? But knowing she is a female she might not know anything

    Yep. This truck is exactly like my old company truck but mine was red. 165,000 and just a slight timing chain rattle at start up. Good trucks.

    Since she has had it, nothing but regular maintence has been done to the motor. She had a switch malfunction that controlled the lights, its fixed now. Motor is perfect. It is a very reliable truck
