I've been out almost every day since warm weather hit. If it wasn't fixing to come a hell of a thunderstorm I'd be on Blood Mtn right meow.

GREAT looking 500! I love that electric blue color, what year is it? Those body styles haven't changed in a LONG time! I wonder what's next? Unless the ninja 650r is the replacement.. It probably is.

One thing I am kinda concerned with is the previous owner removed one of the front brakes and spliced both lines into each other to power the one side that is left. Bike stops great so maybe it's nothing to worry about.

Why in Christ's name would he remove one of the brakes? As hot as mine can get if I'm pushing hard on Blood I'd be almost worried, just riding a normal quick pace I never touch them though, so you should be fine.

I don't know. As far as my driving style is concerned, it doesn't bother me but there is always the chance that I will need to brake hard.

Less rotating mass = quicker acceleration. Only done for drag racing. Stupid for street UNLESS you ride really careful.

Also, who the fuck stretches a classic GSXR? Looks atrocious and I can only image all the people pointing and laughing at it.

It's getting factory parts at some point in time. Mostly concerned with getting the taillight and tag mount taken care of.

Other option is a "carbon phoenix" edition using phoenix edition decals over a complete carbon fiber body.

Cuz I would be in the hospital if I took a shit that was baby blue

Black fairings show swirl marks too much. May just keep what I have and just replace my torn up lower.

    Touring mode.

    Mountain mode.

10,000 miles and it stranded me for the first time. The vacuum activated petcock valve failed 70 miles from my house after riding 700miles. Limped it home and replaced the valve with a non-vacuum petcock valve from a Yamaha Raptor 660.

My dual sport was the first bike I ever bought. 6 months after I got it I bought a 99 GSX-R750 and ended up never riding it because the dualsport was way more fun and easy to ride. I bought my DR-Z400 with 13 miles on it and it turned over 10,000 yesterday. My only wish is I wish Suzuki would put the RMZ450s motor on the DR-Z. 450cc fuel injected 6 speed trans. That and I wish I would have bought a SM and did the dirt wheel(21/18) swap.
