I managed to the the full Arata TI for $840, then bought the Ladybird TI can and had it shipped in from Japan. That ran $375. Then got the Graves exhaust springs, another $12, and then a Harris TI hanger, another $75. With everything new, Total = $1300

Not if the sportbike rider knows what he's doing. I've followed some of the Motards around on some of the mountain trips just because if they're good its pretty cool to watch them. I'll drift the corners in my car but try to keep the rear planted most of the time on the bike. Here's my 04 SV650S. GSXR 600 suspension and brakes, GPR full exhaust, Fairings, flush mount turn signals, plenty of other stuff you can see. And a pic of me before I left for a mountain trip this spring.

Yes, I would bet it would. I can WALK from bikes in my Miata, and that bike looks nimble.

What you don't realize is that you will drive harder in a car on the street than a bike because the margin for error is higher. If you slide around in the car or hit a bit of gravel nor harm done, if I do on a mountain I'm most likely going to get seriously hurt or die. Unless the bike is on very sticky tires a properly setup car can corner faster in most cases. I left many bikes in my miata as well but I know why.

I was talking about sport bikes. I'm sure you can keep up with a bike in your cute little miata around tight corners. It is a known fact that cars corner faster than bikes. I don't meen to hate on that bike, I'm sure that it is a ton of fun. But I would #$@% my pants if it could go over 130. It only has about 50 hp and weighs about 300lbs with a full tank. A 450f would be way faster cause they have a little bit more power and weigh about 230lbs. It's a sweet bike but your not going to kill a sport bike maybe beat one for a little bit in really tight stuff but not kill it. They say it's something like 85% rider 15% bike so you could be the man and kill one cause their not as good as you.
And Simon I was just joking around about miatas calling them cute, I know what there all about, my dad owns one and a few friends of mine do also. I wish I could get one...
    Later guys

As we've said, its all a matter of who's on the seat, not as much what's under the seat.
