question: how does a 600 suck on the street and hard to learn on? my first bike was a 06 zx6r and it was a great learning bike. plenty of power for me and very easy to learn on, got rid of it and a year later got an 05 gsxr 600..still great on the street

you learn more on a smaller bike

not comfortable, high insurance , more difficult to learn on then a lower power bike

I think he means you have the rev the shit out of it for it to get going. I remember going from a sv650 to an zx6r and thought the zx6r was slow as shit until I realized I had to get it up to 14k rpms

thats pretty much what I was getting at--

they are harder to ride on the street and learn on

and SV650 is a better street bike and has more torque down low

if people started with lower HP or smaller bikes they would learn more


the guys who start off on a big bike or even a 600SS don't learn as much as they could, they usually sell there bike after they scare themselves or there family makes them-lol

So, you're such an experienced rider that you feel the need to start over on a 250 to reteach yourself how to ride a motorcycle? Whatever floats your boat i guess, i wouldnt mind having a 250 myself............ but my 250 would have to look like this
