    Default Can this be repaired?

I'm having trouble finding a new tank since it seems people dont sell their tanks unless theyre salvaging the bike in which case the tank is probably dinged up too. Can this dent be pulled repaired? anyone who does body work care to chime in?

^ I asked that same question in the for sale thread for this a few weeks ago. It looks like it will be an ass of man hours in repairing that tank. Have you searched for another tank? You might can find one needing LESS repair.

guy had it parked in the den and said it fell into the staircase. It's not as bad as it looks in pictures. Bike runs great though, ive put about 1k miles on it so far.

trying to find a new red/black tank and swap colors. in the mean time, since i know a lot of people "dent" their tanks on purpose, i was hoping to find someone who could even out the dent and make it look semi presentable.

Unless you are going to stunt the bike, have it pulled. What year is it?

The bike you painted looks fantastic. I'll send you some detailed pictures of the flaws on my bike and see what you think about fixing it

gas tank dented, front cowl cracked, some rash on the fairings. If i could fix the tank, id probably get the bike painted solid pearl white. If i have to buy a tank, im gonna buy a red/black one and buy a red/black fairing kit like the first picture

F Yeah, start to swap the fairings out. The rad and black look so much nicer.

The only problem is his tank is solid and not a cover. He would still have to get that dent out.
