Okay, my thoughts on a hang out spot....
Well the issue we have is where can we be welcome? Where can we be safe? Where is there space? Where is there access to gas stations and maybe an auto store? Where is a place near food? (I love food). Where is a central location.
By all means I am not trying to relace anything, just supplement or add somewhere for those that want someone to hang and cruise at from one day a week to maybe, becoming "that spot".
Well downtown off Piedmont rd (And I think Sydney Marcus) they have built out of nowhere, a new Home Depot shopping center with a waffle house, starbucks, arbys, Best Buy etc. Its HUGE with under and over ground parking.
There is a QT the next block over.
There are tons of eateries around, we are in buckhead!
Its very close to GA 400 and to the 75/75 connector.
Some of us at SELOC (funny the meet was 1 Lexus, 1 Boxster, 1 E46 M3) and we thought it would make a great meeting spot.
I would talk to local business to try to get some manager approval, once we agree to spend money in their establishments (food, etc) when its time to buy something.
Does anyone else know where I am talkign about?
Just a thought, the other idea is finding a PARK and just kick it and chill in a park. Hell TREES, cause its hella hot outside.
