The 19th annual NOPI NATIONALS MOTORSPORTS SUPERSHOW is just two months away and NOPI is very excited about what's in store for this year's show. In case you haven't heard, Atlanta's own LUDACRIS will be making an appearance and performing on the NOPI main stage Saturday night of the event.

Early-bird Registration is now open online for the NOPI NATIONALS at http://register.nopi.com which will get your car registered, along with two admission tickets for you and a passenger as well as two general admission tickets to see LUDACRIS perform live on the NOPI stage....all for $85. Early-bird registration closes on 8/15/2006. Don't miss out on this awesome deal.

yeah they went up. either becuase of the concert on saturday and the other on sunday or they are trying to weed out all the shit cars that show up.

I mean seriously, its become to the point where only sponsors are going to be able go and afford it! 95 dollars? Plus the cost of food and drinks which is already unreal...youll spend around 250-300 just for two days of baking in the sun and 5 minutes of shitty judging. NO THANKS NOPI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok thought i was crazy but guess im right. Price is killer. I live in gwinnett so going 2 days is pointless so if my g/f wants to come is $80 to get into a car show, not to mention drinks and food and gas to get there? Lookin at over $100 to go this yr for 2 ppl... I would rather Ludacris (nothing against him i like his music) not be there and tickets be cheaper. If i want to see him perform ill go to his concert

because of those prices I wont be there. I wont be showing or spectating. Last year it was 85 and I was showing in 2 classes. oh well. I guess I can throw the $200 or so I usually spend that weekend into the body drop fund.

I emailed back to the NOPI poster and this is the reply i got;

"Thank you for taking the time to write. We have not had a ticket priceincrease in many many years. Yes, we added a MAJOR act for a concert andfeel the price is fair. I am sorry for the shock but it is going to be aHELL of a show!!!!"

I didnt think the email would actually go through so i wrote another email later to Nopi site and i worded it a litte better so ill wait for that reply.

the prices will most likely be back down next year after they get 1/3 of the cars and 1/3 of the people showing up.

As of right now I have heard Acophobia may not be going, vertical limit may not be going, no regrets may not be going.

thats the 3 truck clubs, how many import clubs and individuals would be impossible to guess at.

man thank you! These fuck ups want to raise the price when the judging is already shady? Bottom line I will never do NOPI again, I blew it off when people posted about their judging last year but when I actually experienced it first hand!? I wont waste my money.. I'll post up proof if interested.

YOU ARE CORRECT SIR!!!!! last year i entered my car for the hell of it and waited cooking in the sun to see this 65 year old man ,that doesnt know mustang from a civic judge my car. he looked for about 2 seconds and started to leave till i stopped him and was like "your not going to ask me what i have done to my car"? and he says what? i told him and he didnt even write it down and just pretened to and walked to the next car. NOPI is a waste of money!!!

I cant believe all the fucking whining im seeing. Prices will go up ON ANYTHING, Its inevitable. You guys are bitching over 15$, because right now its 85$ to register, last year it was 70$. Man i remember when it was 50$ but do you see me bitching, GOD DAMN. Im not SUPER NOPI guy or anything but i do enjoy spending the weekend out of town seeing the bad ass cars that are there(not the show ones) and just talking with new people from around that race. FUN is not CHEAP, just like modding cars IS NOT CHEAP. There will be Just as many people there as usual, they arent stupid, THEY ARE SMART, ITS CALLED BUSINESS. Ive already Booked 3 Hotel Rooms for all my friends and made arrangements for my new race car to be in there *somewhere*

Maybe it will keep the white trash incomplete cars out that are just worthless.

I got in free last year but didnt show my car. I brought a model with me who happened to have been modeling for one of my bro's friend who was in the club she was modeling for so i also got free food.
