Not to sound like a dick, But that is a very pricey show for just a local outdoor show. $20-$25 is the norm. $30-$35 is a but to high.

What time does the show end and what time is awards?

Agreed, seems a little too high for an outdoor evening show. Also the one thing I really don't agree with is the shop getting any of the proceeds. If it is a memorial show then this one should go to his family.

Yeah that struck me as very odd also, a shop shouldnt reap the rewards of a memorial show, his family or a trust account for kids if any should.

The Modhouse is Scott's Shop His Mother Runs the shop now! And she needs all the help that she can get!

Little History of Scott Hayworth. He has been around for a long time starting out in mini trucks then imports has been in several top mags. and alot of awards. Scott worked at NOPI for many years in Forest Park as counter manager then several other import stores including South Honda (Willett Honda South). All this work let up to his biggest DREAM EVER and that was to open his own Shop ( The Modhouse). I understand that the price is high for a 1 day show but it does have a reason Scott's Dream Means Alot To his Family and the $30/ $35 is just to help out any outstanding bills ( Business or Funeral Cost). Maybe we can lower the cost to $25/$30, we just want to raise money to help!

I can understand what you are doing and I know Scott's Dream. I worked with him at NOPI and showed with him for a couple of years. It is just the way that it was worded that came across wrong to me and I am sure it will to several others. Honestly if you were to drop it to $25 you would probably get a lot more intrest in the show and have more people show up.

this is a great time for all of us to come together in memory of SCOTT all of the proceeds go to his shop and his mom (the only person who he had) he had no children he spent all of his life helping others do what they love. the price of the show shouldnt matter when it is for a good cause. it will help pay for things his mom cannot afford such as continuing on his dream wich was the MODHOUSE. i would hope we can come together and show our support. i will get with the rest of elite and let them know about this show.

Not to sound in the least disrespectful, But I never have heard of Scott or his shop so that makes it hard for me to swallow such a pricey show, so I cant say if I will be there yet or not, to far out to know whats going on that weekend as far as what other shows I may commit to.

Brett, I know you have seen Scott before. Him and Kisa showed the shaved, bagged copper 2dr accord for the longest time. I know you remember that.

She the lady with the chrome wheels on it and shit? I may know her but I dont know if I ever met Scott, But she was sooo nice. I feel for her then, she and I talked a few times at shows I did with her.

How did Scott pass away? I know they were both pretty young.

Yeah, I still remember his trying to drag that rear lip off so it would give him an excuse to redo the back end.

It's too pricey for the area, the location, the quality of cars and just for a small local show. I was at your last one and was not impressed at all by it. Here is a breakdown of my thoughts:

    1. The area...Jonesboro and surrounding areas are not known for being a hotbed of show quality cars.
    2. The location...That spot for the show is not an "awesome" spot. It's just a parking lot by the main highway.
    3. The quality...As stated above, show-worthy cars are not in abundance on the Southside. I lived down there for 5 years and had a "not-so-show-worthy" car.
    4. The local show...I've never been to a car show that charged that much. That's just a bit high for what you guys have going on.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not trying to bash the show, just show what some enthusiasts will think/say. It's great that you're still doing it and the "Memorial Fund" is a great idea. But, if you want a better sized turn-out, you might want to consider dropping that price. Later, QD.

I've been to alot of one day shows and it did NOT matter the cost, we all went for the FUN of just being at a show!

So come if you want, But if you dont come to the show because Of the QUALITY of the cars/trucks or because its on the southside it will be okay Scotts Family & Friends will keep his DREAM ALIVE!

Well you completely mis-interpreted my post. If the show isn't worth the entry fee, then the cost does matter. I didn't say anything about the Southside, although I know you won't have many from the Northside come just because it is South. But there's nothing wrong with the dream being kept alive. BTW, I've never heard of this guy either. Later, QD.

Scott was a great guy and a friend to anyone into cars. I knew him for quite a while. While I don't normally even go to shows, for this one, I will try to make it.

Scott helped out everyone he met, often for nothing in return. Even if this show was $50, it is worth it. Scott's mom raised him to be a stand-up guy and to be generous. The import community should stand-up to help here where they can - IMO.

Okay I have discussed the Regitsration Fee with Kisa and even though its $30/$35 for a one day show with in good intentions to help out Scott's Mom & the Shop the registration fee is now $20 for pre-register $25 day of! We just want the show to be big, fun,& Raise Money for his Mom.

I am there, This also is when Giese is bringin his car out for the first time locally.
I dont care if its $100 to enter, Compared to Nopi Nats, which is 2-3 days of meals, high registration, hotel charges, not to mention its a craps shoot w/ judging and its making the rich richer.
Atleast this is goin to a good cause, and will be needed and used to help in time of need.
I 100% stand behind this event.
