If you go to Formula D, rent one of their golf carts, drink a bunch of beer and have a good time but forget the car show. Whoever said it is right, the NCCA did a piss poor job judging that event two years ago and last year was much, much worse.

As for HIN. I've been to the last two HIN Atlanta events and they were a blast but entrance into the event last year was absolutely unacceptible. Then for HIN to not hold the Atlanta event this year is a complete sell out. It just plain sucks. Atlanta is in our backyard and for HIN to turn their noses up at us tells me they don't want us. Fine. Message understood. For the record, HIN Orlando is great and HIN Miami sucks so go figure. If IA or other friends ask me to attend a HIN event for them, then I'll do so for them but to waste my time going to a car show where it's ALL political and we know in advance that Jay Laub is going to win best of show just doesn't do it for me anymore.

And yes I know HIN has been good to IA and respect that. I consider Andy Goodman and many others with HIN/NCCA friends but they took away the best show we have in Georgia and I'm still pissed about it. I'll bet NOPI paid them not to come back but whatever.

I'm looking forward to spending my money here at home when Formula D gets here.
Thank you Tripper, you seriously need an award for being the nicest guy in the import scene.

All shows have flaws its a known fact shit i'll be the first to tell you everything wrong w/ IA's TUNERFEST, but if your going for a car show i don't think Forumula D is the ticket, great for drifting poor on everything else, i think HIN has a better package for car shows. And i'm pissed they aren't here so i'm going to make dayum sure i support the events they have left in the south.

I personally wish it wasn't booked on the same weekend, that again is poor job on the promoters side, but hey what can you do.
