Yeah best turn out ive seen yet also. Had a good time, good laughs,(bike being layed down") and fucked up security cops...(towing cars, feel bad for that kid, caus he had paid for food,and what not.And offered $240 bucks to let his car down.

The cops have been at the last few varsity meets. But this time there were more cops, prolly the last one, kinda sucks cause that was the only good meet around here, everything usually sucks balls.

I honestly think someone needs to approach the manager of the Varsity and explain to them what goes on. get on the same page, tell him we arent there to cause trouble, just meet and hang out. also need to tell them that people spend money on food.

The V will trade all the BUSINESS they see from the meets for kicking everyone out because its too much liability for them if someone gets hurt, starts a fight (like 3 almost happened last night), wrecks their car, drives other "normal" customers away.

Someone with power needs to organize it with the V, so this can stay the meet spot, if not, then i bet money next month, it lasts 2 hours tops before APD shows up and kicks everyone out

i think the V is just too small for this group. no reason to try and coerce them into letting us stay if all we're going to do is cause a traffic jam in their parking lot. no good reason can justify that to any manager, even if some of us are buying food, it doesn't matter.

really need to find a better spot. something bigger.

THe varsity has alway been popular cause it was downtown, and its a CENTRAL location. so unless we meet in Turner fields Parking lot, i dont know of any place BIGGER that can accomadate us.

The V is a tradition, and i hate to see it go. i personally think they should have a "max number" of occupants, then tell everyone else to go park in the surrounding areas. Thats how other places do it, you get their late, no parking, sorry. too bad.

instead of letting a traffic jam happen, they could shut the parking lot down, but they would have to hire someone to do it, which means we would all have to pay $1 to park or something. i would pay $1-5 to go, just to keep the spot.

but it needs to be more organized

or maybe get that other parkin lot on the other side of the street too. but yea payin an admitance would help... even if we tried to talk somethin over with the varsity managers and see if we could pay a 'rent' for a few hours to park there.

yea i dont think they centered him out. they were clearing that whole area and he was still inside eatin when they got to his car. i was standing close by watching. and yea he offered some money to get it off and they wouldnt take it.

^^haha i was there for that. stover acted like he was gonna move it till the "cop" turned around then just went back to standin there. then we went in and got food and he stuck his receipt under his wiper sayin he had at least an hour because the pole behind his car said "1hr max parking" or somethin along those lines.

Great fucking turn out.

I'd suggest Turner Field if that many people show up agian, it took Harrison and I about 15 minutes to get into the parking lot off the main street.
