Just keep your distance and/or tape your stuff. We did a run mid-to-late feb last year and there were plains of minor gravel damage, but nothing severe, but at the same time, we were riding close-range. Just keep distance and we'll go slow.
Option B is if you run to the rear, all the cars ahead of you kick all the gravel out of the way instead of on your car![]()
