IMPORT FACE-OFF: Baton Rouge, LA - Feb 18 & 19
This is probably too far for most of IA, but I'm posting this mainly for the drifters going to Houston for the Formula Drift Qualifier on February 18th. Drifters, if you are going to Houston for FD, be sure and pass by Import Face-Off in Baton Rouge, LA on the way home. IFO is hosting a $1000 drift competition on the No Problem Raceway road course and there is NO ENTRY FEE. The competition is from 10 am - 5 pm on Sunday, February 19th. Any drifter wanting to compete MUST preregister by phone, 225-247-RACE. Again, there is no entry fee and the competition pays $1000 CASH, on the spot ($800 to 1st, $200 to 2nd). The competition is being coordinated by DailyDrifter.com, the same group helping organize the FD Qualifier.

OPEN ROAD COURSE RACING: Sunday, February 19th. $10 for 5 laps. Any make/model vehicle welcome. All drivers must be 18 years or older. *There will also be an open road course practice session on Sunday, January 29th. Price = 75$ for UNLIMITED grip lapping and/or drifting on the road course.
