Default Import Alliance Summer Meet 2013 caravan to Kentucky

I'm going to the summer meet this July in Kentucky, and if anyone else is going or would like to go, I'm wanting to build up a caravan of drivers for the couple hundred-mile drive there. Post in here if you want to come or are for sure going.

Recommended that you bring a walkie-talkie for the drive. You can easily get a couple walkie-talkies at wal mart for under $10, and it'll come in handy.

Building up a caravan with the A-Town M Club and another BMW club. It won't just be a BMW caravan, it'll be all types of cars. I'm thinking about meeting up Friday morning at The Varsity in Atlanta, and then getting on the interstate from there. Let me know if you'd want to caravan with us. It's a work in progress atm, but it'll come along. Two months to plan.

About a 5 hour drive, including stops for gas. Some buddies of mine from Lexington came down for the IA in Atlanta, and it took them about that long. We'd most likely leave Friday morning so that we'd get in KY early-mid afternoon the day before.

I believe non-stop it would be at least 5 and a half to Lexington from ATL. Sparta is more than an hour from Lexington. I would recommend estimating a total travel time of at least 7 hours, including stops. Also, I wouldn't speed much in KY, State Troopers are heavy on 75 throughout the entire state.

    BUMP

Planning on meeting from The Varsity or somewhere in downtown ATL the Friday morning before the meet and heading out from there. Bring your friends, anyone is welcome.
