Why is it that "drift cars" look like shit? Look at any other form of racing and the cars are very well prep'd...

I always wondered why, can you explain this without any excuses?

Here is a random selection of cars that will be and have been running in the series. All of which are well prepared and look pretty freaking amazing. I make no excuses for ill prepared cars nor do I condone em in any form of racing.

But you allow it, in-turn that brings down the standards "we" the people see... No one wants to watch a bunch of "janky" cars run around the track!!

And you don't see "Janky" cars at a real pro drifting event...

Just My 2 cents, but who cares right?? That's another reason I don't go to these events... SMFH!!

Actually we don't.. Al cars must present well @ 50 / 50 - 50 ft & 50 mph - If you see a car running with no bumpers etc. its due to a loss of such during competition. Crashes happen. Bumpers get torn off - S&^$ Happens. Even in FD. This is Pro AM - Not pro. Teams are expected to present well and do their best so they can one day get to pro which is the whole point of the series. If its not your thing, fine. You can always choose to show off your car or go look at clean cars in the Car Corral. The event has elements in it for everyone to enjoy.

I like racing, but racing cars that have all the parts installed.. "Janky" cars give the scene a bad name, and others feed on this!!
