August 11+12 - TNT / Novice School / Points 7 - Turner Field!
Are you ready to get back into the swing of things? SOLOATlanta is ready to start up with a fury of events coming in the next month as we lead up to the SOLO Nationls in Linclon, NE the first week of September. If you'd like more information, be sure to visit our Nationals check-in thread on the forum. In the mean time, we have a busy two event weekend with a combination novice school / test-and-tune on Saturday and Points 7 on Sunday. As usual, the competition should be great and hopefully with the long summer break, everyone will be rested and driving their best. Note that because of the novice school being run Saturday, there will be no novice instruction on Sunday, so plan accordinly. Also, as usual Daly's Grill will be at the event serving up their famous brisket as well as some cold-cut sandwiches to try and keep you cool. Also, we'll have a new vendor on site: RPM Performance Driving and Fitness. They will be there selling rehydration and energy drinks to make sure you'll be preforming at your best all weekend. Be sure to pass on the Red Bull, Gatorade and Powerade this weekend and hit their tent up as they have some really awesome (and much more healthy) drinks and supplements available. Lastly, don't forget that this coming Monday will be the end of early registration for Nationals. So far we have over 30 region members making the trip out. Don't miss another year - sign-up today!
