Default Import Showdown Nov. 13th (Saturday)

First and foremost thank you so much to I.A. for supporting this event and giving us a place to bring auto enthusiasts together.

Our event will be held on Saturday which is a change from previous years. We are trying to accommodate some of the racers that are traveling long distances! Feel free to visit our site www.importshowdown.com to read the rules, classes, and check out the times. If you have any questions feel free to PM me. Please read the requirements for each class. Enjoy and thanks for the support!

Sorry for the change to Saturday, but for the distant travelers it just seems more ideal.

Something we have discussed, but it is hard to find people to fill it. I honestly think this will be a class next time, but if it doesn't fill their will not be payouts for empty classes.

there is a LOT of all motor guys in florida, the payout just needs to be worth the drive, pretty much atleast 500$ and youll probably draw a field as long as it doesn't conflict with IFO or NSCRA

yeah your right they also need to allow slicks and it would be great.

that should also make the street all motor class have a better turnout, without the faster guys running off guys that need to be in the class but are running test and tune instead.

Dante I will call you when I get out of class in about 1.5hrs. Their is plenty of room, most of our vendors don't sell many hard parts, but perform services.

Name is Josh. Flyers are already made up, but we can get you on the website, t shirts, and let you setup a booth.

We are heavily discussing a ALL MOTOR Pro style class fiberglass front ends, slicks, lexan etc... Basically giving you guys a class outside of Showdown which blows the doors off :<

This will most likely come next event as we are to close now to make the adjustments.

nobody builds all motor cars like that anymore in sport compact....they are all street class cars. theres Pro all motor cars out there that are tube chassis, or 25.5 chassis but they are but just a hand ful out of the pool.

correct but the rules for all motor street limits you to no slicks and in my case no open exhaust.. Only other option is changing da rules or adding a all motor pro or all motor showdown class

All motor street is fine just allow slicks and able to run open headers and the turnout would be alot bigger

Will be there supporting the series. Glad to sponsor one of the classes to show our support to drag racing. Wish I had a car that I could campaign this time but more important things took top priority this year over my extra money and time. Cant wait to be there!

We definitely appreciate the support from JJSpec and all of our sponsors! The event is really growing and with repeat sponsors that are reliable it helps us ensure larger payouts to the racers.

I can help you out if need be. The limiting factor will be how many passes you get. PM me your details such as engine management, current setup.
