Default Two Seats Only Charity Poker Run JULY 17,2010

Two Seats Only Charity Poker Run

Sponsored by the Georgia Fiero Club with special considerations by Road Atlanta and the Atlanta Region Sports Car Club of America, for the benefit of a fellow sports car enthusiast

who was struck by an automobile and suffered massive injuries.

If your vehicle is designed for two passengers only, or has one of those unusable rear seats, you’re invited to join us on Saturday, July 17, for the Georgia Fiero Club’s Two Seat Only Poker Run. The run will start at the Gwinnet County Airport - Briscoe Field, and end at Road Atlanta, where you will have the opportunity to view the 2010 SCCA Regional.

Registration for the Run is only $25.00 per person, and includes the following choices from the Paddock Grill at Road Atlanta: Hamburger or Cheeseburger or 2 Hot Dogs, Chips and Soda or Bottled Water,

and free attendance to the Saturday evening cookout courtesy of the Atlanta Region SCCA.

Additional fees, payable to Road Atlanta, include $10 (for a one-day pass) or $15 (for a two-day pass, in case you want to come back on Sunday and watch races) per-person entry fee, and a $5 parking fee. Note: The entry fees are discounted from the $20 (one-day) or $30 (two-day) general public price.

    DRIVE THE ROAD ATLANTA TRACK!

For an additional $20 fee, participants will be given the opportunity to drive the Road Atlanta track (paced) for up to 50 minutes. You must be present at the track between 11 and 11:30AM Saturday to participate in the on-track Driving Experience.

You may pre-register online, or by mailing the event flyer with a $25 Personal check or Postal Money Order, made payable to: Georgia Fiero Club, 287 Park Place, Auburn, Ga. 30011-3035. All cancellations will incur a $3.00 transaction fee (your refund will be $22). You may also register on the day of the event. Please have the bottom of the event flyer filled out when you arrive.

How far of a drive is this? I was telling the wife the other day that I would love to go to Road Atlanta and see a race. And even drive on the track sometime.. but that will be held off for a later date.

I was just wondering how far of a ride this is.. I would like to come out and join.
