    wow got back yesterday from Lake Winfield Scott...caught a 3.5lb rainbow trout and cooked it up nicely!! It was flipping cold tho....25deg sometime late that night/morning...still had a blast...thanks again for this thread to inspire me

    yeah you should have seen this fish!!!! biggest trout I have ever caught and best I have had in so long!!!! I was really glad that we went up there, really needed to get away!

    No im not....Ill have the little one and she doesnt need to be put through that cold...she will only wind up hating camping as she grows up if I take her up this late in the year...
