I am coming, and I am going to try to bring the rest of the 9thgenners. Do we have to pre-register or just show up at Luby's with a toy?

Has anybody thought about contacting a local news agency to help bring some publicity to this event? Maybe some more people will want to sponsor.

Just show up with a toy. I have contacted all area news agencies both years now and have received 0 response . The stories they want to run involve celebrities doing charities not a bunch of tuners doing good! Its unfortunate but it seems to be their motto on holiday stories.

Just point out this little fact to them, while they are with their families and friends doing what they want for Christmas these kids will be stuck in the hospital, some of which will still be fighting for their lives, so why not make it a little better by donating a toy and feeling a little better about yourself for joining a great cause and having some fun at the same time? Look its not rocket science yes it will cost you money for the toy(s) and gas but doesn't it fell better to give to someone who needs comfort and love rather than being selfishabout a few bucks?

Man I wish everyone saw it like that but I've spent time in that hospital and I've been in the hospital on the holidays so I know these kids could use some cheering up

Im interested in going, but whats the usual turnout for this? Also, is this really going to be a cruise? I hate going on cruises where the entire time I have some ricer trying to do a highway pull with me.
