I saw this over on PreludePower, so I will try to make it down from Chattanooga.
Been to a couple previous meets this year, I just hope we have more than the meet
in January.

let me contribute....

I have lost ALL hydraulic pressure in my clutch, pedal goes all the way to the floor and I cant shift gears, stayed up until 2am last night replacing the clutch slave and bleeding the lines AND I have food poisoning, and still the pedal went to the floor...so I was turning wrenches then I would periodically make trips to the front yard to vomit in the bushes....wonderful night, very peaceful and romantic.

But alas the prelude has whooped my ass again...its getting towed from my driveway as of this morning. since the slave is fixed all I can think of is the master but I am all out of strength and patience to do it myself. it should be fixed by this weekend. but that has absolutely no bearing on me wanting to light a match to the thing and burn it straight to the motherfucking ground before this weekend.

Hey man, I was there remember....I was just saying "I hope there will be more" I know it was a good meet back then, but since this is summer, I would expect more people to show up.

my car wont be fixed until monday....FUCKING prelude! if it was an integra or a civic i would be on the road yesterday...prelude, everything is special order so parts wont even get in until tomorrow. Guess it was not meant for me to be at this meet

the "main shift fork" inside the tranny housing. the fork that moves the throwout bearing in a H22 transmission

I would be shocked and stunned into silence if you had one, I have had people calling and searching through about every part supplier and junkyard in the state and only came up with one from an F22 tranny (its too short) it HAS to be for an H22 tranny

I have already ordered the part though, brand new OEM honda still in the bubble wrap.

and the tag and link in your sig makes me feel slightly better....If maybe I could get you to explain to my girlfriend why we bust our asses so hard on these cars (She found me sleeping in the garage the other night under the prelude) how fucked up is that?

And I can explain to your girlfriend how it goes. 4 motors in 11 months man, I know very well what kind of patience is required to own one of them. They don't say that preludes are cursed without a reason.....

Thank you for looking out but I am all out of time and patience to be wrong about this. I am really fed up with the car right now, and im kind of disappointed to not be able to make the meet. I love this car, when its running good its an awesome car. but times like this makes me want to throw it up in the for sale forum and let a dumbass teenager just wrap it around a tree and forget about it.

That makes absolutely no sense. A master cylinder takes about 1-1.5 hours to replace with rinky dink tools.

Were you bleeding the slave by yourself or did you have some1 helping? It might still be the slave. You could have bled it incorrectly or not to 100% or you might have gotton a bad one, it happens.

On a side note, I will probably be going with the Importgirl up there. :goodjob: Can I ride the bike down?:D:D
