Props to the rest of the media guys.
Props to everyone else for not getting pulled over. :lmfao:
Good times tonight. Of course there's never going to be a perfect meet, especially with this many people, but I was happy. For some reason, when you get more than 3 people together people start turning their brains off and can't listen or follow/comprehend simple things. So there was a lot of sitting, and the first two times we got going, we were sitting in our cars for a LONG time after "Alright, let's all head out" was said. But all in all, I have no complaints. I know I couldn't have done it any better, and it just comes with the territory, so I will say I had a great time tonight!
Thanks everyone who put the time, effort, and money into putting this together. I KNOW this took a lot of preparation and work to put together, and I'm sure some pocket change as well. Thanks for the invite, and I'll look forward to doing this again!!
Thanks sunny for perparing this for us.
And nice to meet all you guys
I haz NOS crash... Thanks to everyone that came out, all the prep, and work to make this all happen. Thanks to Andrew and Rob for their help. This was my first time shooting moving things at night. It was real challenging. I didn't realize one thing after the fact and the cruise was pretty much wrapping up. I'm glad I got the chance to experience this from a media-capturing POV. :goodjob: :goodjob: :goodjob:
goodnight:::
Nice to meet everyone. The cruise was fun.
Testing my sig. I think maybe if I start using this, it'll be easier for people to figure out who the f' I am when I come into these threads and randomly type stuff.
Just got home, night well spent.
Special thanks to NOS Energy Drink....Abby for helping and supporting the event, and providing us much needed boost before the event.
Big thanks to Media Group, Kevin, Eddie, Walker, Trevor, Jason, Alan, Collins, Jordan, Adrian, and rest of the group for coverage.
I'd like to thank all the other attendees for coming out and making event a success, i hope y'all enjoyed the cruise. I apologize about long wait. I wanted to make sure everyone was together. I tired my best to make everyone happy.
Pix will be up in couple of days. Don't forget to check out the pictures and leave feedback at www.SpeedandMischief.com, and www.DrinkNos.com.
Had fun. thanks for inviting me Eddie lol. Nice to meet you Sonny. i hope the wagon is worthy of being invited out by the next meet

Big ups to Sunny for organizing the event. Also I'd like to thank Brad and Aaron for allowing me to occupy their passenger seats tonight and getting to know you guys better. Also thank you to Mr. Briggs for allowing me to roam around his car and for the concussion I prolly got.LOL. But also fuck you for fucking with me. Thanks to Kevin for letting me borrow some equipment tonight came through in a pinch for me buddy as always.
I definitely need to get a new camera. I'm disapointed in the vids I got but definitely got some good shots at the checkpoints.
All in all it was a great event. Probably the best one I've been to in years.
It was nice meeting new people (trevor, tim, etc.)
lol! Hopefully some of them came out! There is nothing I could do, short of maybe rappelling from an overpass for a shot, that is crazier or more stupid than than the dude on the bike though. I fully expected to be scraping him off the asphalt by the end of the night...Quote:

When your "antics" all revolve around how well the people around you react to things, there's always gonna come that day when they or you, or both have something unexpected happen.
Oh yeah. I had one gripe about tonight, forgot to mention this.
Maybe I am over-reacting, or maybe this didn't bother anyone else.....but I was rather irritated by the attitude of some of the people who were invited. The thing is, people spent a lot of time to put this together, and you were INVITED to join, for YOUR enjoyment. The one thing that the organizer of the FREE event asked, was to follow some rules. On everyone's invitation it said there was a dresscode for tonight. I saw tons of drivers (not camera men, people who were actually invited to join the cruise) who were in t shirts, shorts, and flip flops. I actually HEARD people say "I know there's a dress code, but fuck it."
You didn't HAVE to know about this event, and you didn't HAVE to be invited. I found it very disrespectful for the people who thought it was ok to accept the invitation, but didn't feel they needed to adhere to the rules of it.
Before a shit storm starts, I'm sure there were reasons for certain people not being dressed up (work, lack of time due to your schedule, etc). That will happen. It's the people who just blatantly decided they wouldn't even put an effort into following the dress code for no reason whatsoever that kinda got under my skin.
You're on point. Following those simple rules goes a long way when dealing with authority figures, especially when something can be seen as being organized in a professional manner.Quote:

I felt bad about wearing jeans but I spent 3 hours at a camera store in midtown trying to rent a lens for the event, something that should have taken 15 minutes. An address error on my card for the security deposit kept me on the phone for nearly 2 hours with half a dozen phone calls to my bank and visa with them insisting it was corrected and good to go instantly. Three+ hours later it still wouldn't verify in the system through Visa and I was out a lens...leaving me downtown at 5pm on a Friday ha! There was no way I was gonna crawl in traffic 2+ hours home to change clothes and drive back when I was just a few blocks away lol!
So who saw Dekalb County sitting on the exit 40 Ponce on-ramp right before getting on 78? :ninja:
Luckily everyone was single file and under the speed limit preparing to turn off...if he was an exit or two back somebody would have been screwed!
If I remember correctly, you were just there for filming, right? Only the drivers were asked to stick to the dress code, as far as I know.Quote:
