I can get me a pair of 2-3 mile ones too.

Not sure about the groups...from what I've heard people from driftmechanics and team-integra are coming as well as ia.com but nothing about actual groups sticking together driving...

if this many people actually show then the people that know the roads need to each take a group and possibly run different routes to keep things a little easier on the newer people and keep the group sizes down. 40 cars with each other is just bad news waiting to happen, 10 or less per group is hard enough to keep track of.

Since it's the day after all the halloween parties i'm gonna guess alot of people won't show..but we'll just have to see, i'm sure we can work something out to make everything go as smooth as possible.

hit the loop today to check things out... lots of people up there, but early on it was nearly empty on 129. the store parking lot at the top of blood mtn was packed when i got up there, went down past vogel and hit 180, pretty empty. didn't catch any traffic until lake winfried scott and then a little more beyond Lenny's (food joint after you come out of the woods on 180). by that point it was ~1:30 when i hit Dale's, and caught a good bit of slow goers on 60 heading back toward the rock pile (under 35mph the whole way ).

BUT, i did not see a single Lumpkin/GSP officer anywhere up there today, which is generally a rare occurrence. and to top it all off i couldn't ask for better weather. can't wait for the 30th

well i think for sure ryan wants to go up there before the 30th ... There's a good chance we'll be cruising the same route as the 30th run ... maybe we'll stop at the waterfall and eat or something. we'll leave up 400 around 11:00 - 12:00. let us know if you want to meet up at the walmart or something

Well now I don’t know if we’ll be going tomorrow … tonight my roommate’s car “F”ed up. We think it could be one of two problems. 1) one of his injectors is staying wide ass open OR 2) his MSD ignition isn’t firing right. Its either too much gas or not enough spark. Honestly we don’t know. So tomorrow I’m going to be driving him around and going to try and get this problem fixed and the part I hate the most is he's only had this car for 6 months. I just hope Subaru Of Gwinnett will honor the warranty he bought and fix whatever is the problem. Who knows

I just want to give a big thank you out to Ryan, Jason and Adrian for coming out so late and then staying till 4am trying to get Matts car running. Hopfully we'll have everything fixed in the mourning so we can go on the run later in the day.

Sweet, i will be in town next weekend....I thought I had royally screwed up on the mtn run scheduling! i'm not at VIR next weekend...even if i was then I would have put my car in the race trailer and pulled an all nighter driving back after the 13hr race, i think it was a 7 hr drive in the motor home last time so i can prolly do it under 6 in my car. Anyways, it is a green...whew, sigh.

how about a redbull right about now naww, got two rockstars and a full throttle before i left the QT and saved them for this morning so i should be good for a while Matts gotta save up for a distributor anyways but once i get the shop remodel done i'll be looking for a good deal on some speakers

...Rockin two huge Marantz 3 ways with a 12" driver up in the trusses on the garage side now and two big wall mounted bookshelf 2 ways with an 8 inch on the shop side...I'll keep the Marantz up top for bass but will be looking for a handful of cheap satellites to place all around...
