Anyone rolling out from lawrenceville? LMK. We're rolling out with everybody from BP on Pleasant hill at 8:30.
Right around 10ish. 1 like you said seemed a little too late and 9 seemed a little too early.Quote:

lots of bumble bee sounding exhaust passing by downtown right now. i can hear it in my apt. lols.
I'll be there at 10 or 11 with a few people. Never been to an Import Alliance meet
i was gonna go, but my front brakes locked up friday afternoon. I got those changed within an hour from a friend, but shortly after my clutch master cylinder stopped working also.. so now its stuck in my friends garage until he gets back from Florida on monday..
basically, God doesn't want me to go.

lol some clean cars for sure, but a lot of nasty rice. Varsity in a parking deck hah
it was pretty lame , nothing i havent seen 1092382834012804 times already. It was the Varsity in a parking deck, nothing really exciting. i stayed for about 20 min
Stayed a bit longer, but I felt the exact same way.Quote:

ya it was alright... boring b/c nothing else was going on i can't believe all of the cars form out of state that drove to ATL for this. it was a good meet though just needed better marketing and most shit to do while you are there.
Whew. Glad I couldn't make it. Later, QD.
Part of me feels like it would have been ok if city managers would allow a nationally reputable sports car club association to hold a closed circuit drift competition in that deck every once and a while as long as they were solely responsible for any damages that the deck took, and all drivers where held responsible for their own personal vehicle damages, insurance costs, etc. (make them sign waivers...). Split the proceeds with the GWCC, bring in some revenue for the city, and pull some of the dumb shit that happens in the streets off of public roads because there'd be a new venue other than turner field. Then host it like twice a month. I know its stupid ass cliche Tokyo drift shit, but it still would have been something I would have paid more than 5 bucks to see.
btw, whoever was bumping the soundtrack on level three, you may want to re-evaluate your music collection dude lol.
i agree. It wasn't anything special, but was still fun.
This post made entirely zero sense. No smart car association would dream of assuming the liability over possible damages of any functional parking deck down there. There's waay too much going on downtown to take that risk. And you're fooling yourself if you think that would stop the stupid people from doing their stupid antics on the streets. Later, QD.Quote:
