We've just started calling all of the peeps we know, It looks like alot of cars will be coming out to the meet. We sold the Gray AE86 and we're gonna have to scramble to get a car or two ready for this meet. We'll probably bring the 1971 2 door corolla panel wagon (It's rough but cool) and maybe the beater yellow Datsun 710. This is going to be a cool year.

We sold it with strings attached. We'll still be able to take it out to meets and other events. I don't think it will be ready for this first meet because it needs the turbo replaced. But supposedly we're getting the 82 rear wheel drive Maxima back in time to bring it. John's just finishing up a 5m toyota supra engine swap on the orange 77 celica hatch that was at several of the meets last year, and if we get a few extra "minutes" we're going to try to bring the 1972 corolla panel wagon for its pre restore debut.

I had a friend tell me about this meet coming up and I may come out and check it out if I don't have anything going on. But I was wondering regarding the 1985 and older requirement. I have a 1986 AE86 and curious if that would even be counted out. I know it may be a dumb question, but I figured I'd ask. Thanks.

Exactly. The way we set it up as if the body type of the car was made on or before 1985, then it's included. Your body was made from 1983-1987 so any of those years of the AE86 is in on this.It's, technically, ol school since the body style began in '83.

Does my 89 Conquest count as old school?
How hard can the rules be to follow? 1985 and older unless the bodystyle started production before 85. Does the 89 Conquest have the same chassis/body as a pre-85 conquest? (I don't know shit about them) but if they do then yes, it's old school.
