    Wink Mtns this Sunday anyone?

    I know it is very late notice but it is the same for me. Here is the deal. My dad is a Mopar man and of course he has many Mopar friends. Well two of my dads friends are brothers and they think their cars are the $hit. They had a cookout on Labor Day and of course were rambling about their cars cause I took the Z over there. They were braggin how they went to the mtns two weekends ago and how bad a$$ their cars performed and . Then I told them that next time I will bring them with me to show them how to "really" drive the mtn and how a real car performs. Uh oh did I hit a sore button or what. They got all again and the younger bro said he would be right on my a$$ the whole way if he put his rear sway bar on.

    They have.....

    69' Charger 440 Magnum
    ??' Dart 400

    I laughed and said whatever. So they wanna hit the mtns this Sunday for some fun in the sun. I know it sounds as if we are gonna "RACE" but not really. It wont be a race cause after three turns they wont be there anymore.

    So I wanted to invite anyone that can make it out to help me in showing these MUSCLE CAR boyz up.

    Should be meeting at the Home Depot off of 400N across from the Outlet, but not sure of a time just yet.

    since when are chargers and darts even supposed to be near mountains anyways...are they going to idle through the turns then just romp on the gas in the straights?

    ^^^hahahaha!! true that!!! hell i'd love to come criuse along, but i know i'd be too tempted to show them how an import can handle the mtns, but i dont have my new brakes yet, so i'll prolly sit this one out. i dunno, i might just come along for a joy ride.

    its all good, i went up anyway and had a little fun in the twisties. i saw a 350z with a group of bikes, but they were more interested in video footage than anything else. i ran on up 19 (blood mtn) and back down, then i went up hwy 60 and got stuck behind a ram for most of the fun part, but then he turned off at 180 and me and a biker continued WAY up 60 at a pretty good clip. so it was still a fun time.
