    MOTORSPORT NATIONAL SUPERSHOW
    September 20 and 21
    at the GEORGIA INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION CENTER

    Wow, you guys sure know how to blog! The rumor mill in this industry is unbelievable! Anyway, after a long hard week of negotiations, we are taking the Motorsport Nationals Supershow to the beautiful facilities at GICC by the Atlanta Airport. Don't FREAK, your same hotel reservations will be fine. The place is off Camp Creek Parkway almost at the airport so all the 19/41 area hotels are just a couple of miles away and still the cheapest! The show will be mostly an inside deal (air conditioned and NO rain!). We will party like no other! We will have tons of cars in the car show and vendors galore, a gigantic swimsuit competition, and yes lots of live music. I have compiled as much information here as I an so far. On-Line Registration should be up by Friday....hopefully. Stay tuned to the website and remember indoor space will be limited!

    Saturday Only - $30
    Sunday Only - $25
    Saturday and Sunday - $50

    Car Show Entry Fee - $65
    (Includes Admission For Two Saturday and Sunday)

    $5000 payout for the car show
    $2000 payout for car clubs
    $3000 payout for the swimsuit competition

    there is hardly any classes... I don't see a big-ass turnout for this event.. My guess is 250-500 at the most if that... "Nopi" Nationals is officially in the ghetto.... I guess I better be strapped riding in my ride in College Park... Makes me really wanna drive my ride around there and stay at a hotel around that area... LOL

    lol yah i have the exact same question... i go to nopi nationals every year looking forward to some fast paced wall smashing drifting and im really gonna be dissapointed if they dont have ANY at all this year. but ill still go regardless!

    Honest Answer: Could be that it's a 2-day event to make the show more relevant on a larger/national scale. Motorsport Nats is an attempt to somehow last-minute-style fill the void that was Nopi Nats (a 2-day show). A 2-day show has more potential to bring people from out of state. It also looks more attractive to possible vendors/sponsors who travel a long way and spend a lot of money to be there. It's also possible that's just how you rent GICC... for the weekend. ....just a couple guesses.

    it probably wont be anything like nopi, hell look at the price of admission!!! that enough is a difference! im going and i believe it will be fun hanging out and meeting some new folks. atleast there is a show people what else is there to do the third weekend of september? there is always a show during that weekend. ah the days at lakewood....maybe we can get some ef's down there!

    i was told the 1st 500 registered can be inside and then can use outside parking lot..

    Being inside, you have to have like 1/4 tank or less gas in your car and unhook your battery when parked...

    does anyone find the classes mis-matched. cause i was going to enter prelude but i have no chance of placing goin up against supra, nsx, 350z, g35, skyline etc.

    Classes are gay, but what do expect from a last minute attempt to make another nopi, u know?? I mean I got a Honda Accord and going up against lexus and etc.. LOL

    Good news is, awards cermony will be alot shorter than nopi nats....
