8/15 Macon Nat'l Dragway Grudge Night
Just as the title says, this event is stemming from some of the smack talk around these parts (central GA).
THIS EVENT IS THREE WEEKENDS FROM NOW so that is PLENTY of time to get prepared. FYI, this track is MUCH easier to get to than Silver Dollar, and is closer. It is an 1/8 mile track, but it has PAVED PITS and BRAND NEW facilities. I will be attending the track this coming Friday, so I will be sure to take pictures of the venue.
There is also either a live DJ or band playing at all times, ranging from hip hop to metal.
$10 spectator fee
$25 to race
$10 extra for the Grudge Match portion
If we only get 4 people, it will be a winner takes all. PAYOUTS to third if we can get up to 8 participants, so the more people involved, the higher payout. Lowest E/T of the night will receive a trophy from the track sponsors.
BUT
Get a flyer from JJSpec Racing and save $15 off test and tune. Basically pay your $10 and hand them the flyer.
As far as the track conditions...the prep is SPECTACULAR and the entire track was redone this past year.
TIME: Gates open at 5, track 'closes' at 10, but I've made runs as late as 11:30.
