    i just emailed the tuner i bought the map/reflash from and explained my gripes and complaints. hopefully he can get this nonsense fixed. quickly.
    if not ill be untuned with the mbc so fast it'll make your head spin!!!

    Is there anywhere you can take it to get a Dyno tune? I just hate dealing with mail order tunes. They never turn out right.

    So.....it wasn't the 1-2 gear shift fork...just the 5-6 gear. Part comes in on Tuesday....I'm out of the GTI for another week.

    i could, but its a complicated decision as to whom i would let do it and a very expensive one considering that im hoping to go bigger turbo in the spring so the tune would be obsolete. while it is a mail order tune, its exactly like a cobb accesport or diablosport handheld tuner. kinda.
    gonna adjust the wastegate tonight afer to get together and wait to hear what the tuner has to say....

    Gotta pull the Lexus fuel pump and see if there's any gas in the tank. I thought the timing was off, but I pulled most of the accessories and covers off and saw everything lined up.

    Thats the same one that was in the car. The reason I pulled it was to put the Road Race Style oil pan on it. While I was in there I changed the motor mounts to Poly ones as well. I had already Blown the Stock Style Rubber one on the Drivers side.

    Got brake fluid in my eye. That shit burns.

    This woman at Autozone had a bad master cylinder and air in her brake lines. I swapped it out for her, but found that one of the flare nuts was waaaay too small for the hole in the cylinder. Got it together with an adapter, and as I was bleeding her brakes (with the tire on), I popped the screw out and got squirted.
