each application is different. Its hard to say.

Well I just reminded myself why I don't play the PS3...everytime I go to play a game, it needs another fucking update which takes forever to complete. I feel like I'm playing with a Windows machine.
Tax dollars are going to be used to pay for my lasik.
So who got forza and cheated and got cars and money transferred over from forza 3????
I made Autumn and I hotdogs for dinner, made me think we need to grill out at someone's house again soon before the weather gets too cold.
Laurabeth and I grilled out the other night. Yummy.
Someone make a Newnan Crew (yes with a C not a K) community on Forza!
i wont join unless its a k.......
whats your gamer tag?
Fine I guess we can use a K, gamertag is MustangMan53
i might be getting live soon.....
though my 360 doesnt have built in wifi
I made a Newnan Krew club on Forza 4 already. Danny, you have my gamertag yo.
is it much better than 3? i dont see the need for me to buy it...
For something that you MAY occassionally track? SOmething that your gonna just basically drive and bring out to meets, its basically a waste. I tell everybody: the factory builds motors with little "reliability faries" in the block, and once you open it up to fuck with shit, they fly away. Typically any motor with forged pistons (i don't give a fuck if they're the Holy Grail of H series pistons: Mahle or a regular set of CP slugs) has a short lifespan no matter who or how well they are put together. Its simple physics: forged pistons "slap" around in the cylinder walls untill the motor warms up and the pistons expand fit properly. This destroying of the cylinder walls happens everytime there is a cold start and is severly compounded when you begin driving the car before it fully warms up.
This is exactly why I'm doing a stock block build rather than a forged piston upgrade.
Good job 'Nel!! I'll join it tonight and actually start playin in earnest once i get outta work!

Some pistons are going to have more "slap" than others. I've seen some that are obnoxious and you'd swear there is something wrong with the engine or they're quiet. It really boils down to the specs/tolerances the engine was built to.
I'll play when I get home and then all day tomorrow and Friday. Haha been busy since I got the game.
i should by tonight.
Just out of curiousity, whats the longest you've seen a forged piston motor last? Some guys are getting 60-75k miles which isn't too bad. Unless you drive 40k a year like me...
Are you worried about the ones in your motor or not really?
Depends on what you wanna do. If you wanna spend a shit ton of money and only go so fast i guess. You could buy something with more potential and be quicker for less time and money.
I've long since discovered you build a honda because you want to and its enjoyable for you. 9 times out of 10 there are much better choices and more reasonable (cheaper) choices for going faster.
With that said, I still wanna build another Honda. My only problem is I can't have two project cars. lol

It is definitely true about building a Honda is something you like to do. Until I get my Evo next year, the accord will have to do. Probably just gonna stick with a simple swap and make it a decent dd and worry about performance more when the Evo comes.
