well will oil contribute to high nox values? I know my 3rd cylinder plug had an oil sheen on it and ive had low compression, but it passed last year.
Oil shouldn't make a difference on NOx levels. Had the exact same problem with the Del Sol last year. Grabbed Bobby's cat and it passed no problem.

replace catalytic convertor. jcwhitney sells a good OEM replacement. CATCO.
