Honestly, you want to isolate the breaking to the transmission only? Pour seafoam into the trans, and drive it until it falls apart.

He already came forth and said he doesn't have the time, money, tools, or know how on how to do the 6 speed swap. Let him learn to work on it and do basic stuff, save some money, etc before he jumps head first into such a big project...

Speaking of which I finally got the shitbox all back together today. Took it out and and the tires def have flat spots in them, the brand new fan contoller doesn't work, and traction is a major issue in 1st and 2nd in this cold. 3rd pretty much sticks, but 1st and 2nd might as well not exist.

And I figured out what was the issue with my fan controller. When the set temp is reached it gives the fan a ground not a +. therefore I was trying to give the fan power on both leads instead of a - and a +. Reading Directions > Me.
