What ecu? and cat placement (how far from the exhaust ports) makes a difference. Those RMF replicas (i think thats what tommy said you had) place the cat further away from the exhaust ports, but not by too much. Hopefully. The further away, the cooler the exhaust gasses. (you prob know this, but others may not) The catylitic converter only works when it heats up to a specific heat range. If the exhaust gasses cool off a tad too much, the cat just become a flow obstruction with zero environmental benefits.Quote:

For those of you in emission counties I recomend a high flow cat. They flow nearly as well as a test pipe (usually within 1 hp) and are definately more eco friendly!
For those of yous with honda running these fantastic new replica headers (Hytech replica, RMF replica, VTECkid, whatever you wanna call them) and , what i had on my Lude, the 4 way adjustable test pipe (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Honda...Race_Car_Parts) its super easy to replace the inner portion of pipe with a universal Magnaflow high flow cat.
FLANGE FROM TEST PIPE + SLIP ON HIGH FLOW CAT + 2nd FLANGE FROM TEST PIPE
Finally got the motor taken out of the shitbox. Now the road race oil pan can finally go on!!!
