Is is normal that the brakes squeel like a 7 year old screaming. It's getting kinda annoying and awkward when I drive. Makes me not want to brake.... Guess gotta replace the brake pads.

RS's were only FWD. There is no AWD focus unless it was custom made. And i know a guy that owns a shop in Orlando area that does a lot of the v8 swap foci. I did have the Toyo tires v8 focus out one night (was in our trailer, lol) after we picked it up from the shop to take it to Atlanta to get painted. I didn't know any of you guys at the time though.

I have pics of that car from a HIN show up north from like 5-6yrs ago. My dad got to drive it in. I did find a video of it at one point on youtube of it at an autox course but i haven't been able to find it since.
Normal focus drum brakes. You need to upgrade to rear disc. We can check them when you swing by the house if you want.

On the 17th of this month (september) I and a handful of others (some post in here some don't) are going to Silver Dollar Raceway in Reynolds for friday night "test N tune." On a 2.0 or 1.8 how much power are they capable of pushing on pump gas at what psi??

93 octane at 22psi you can get around 250whp with just a chip and the turbo
stock k03-s you can get the same but you have to have water/meth injection and other stuff, so its more $
k04-23 is what he has, off a 225 audi tt
So how much is he making? ~ 250?
And how's the spool /holding boost characteristics of the setup??

Doesn't seem wierd to me. The Cams look like the head has sat for a long time without being ran. Upper side of the head looks like it has had regular oil changes, no heavy coking. Combustion chamber doesn't look to horrible. Its the Valve seats that will be the worst.
The guy I bought the engine from said it burned oil. Bad rings. My current engine has the same problem, so I've decided to just fix this spare up and swap them when mine gives out.
I have a full gasket set, so now I need to figure out if I'm just going to replace the rings or if I need to tear down the head.
This engine and everything I have for it has only set me back around $150.
he actually has a shitty dv(its leaky) so its only holding around 13 psi
he should have around 250 at the wheels, he still has plenty of mods to do though.
the turbo is small as you know, so it spools up around 3200, all the torque, around 270 iirc is right after idle so at around 1300 he has all that torque.
that's not too bad.
the only experiemce i've had with a K04 was on my fathers mazdaspeed6. its a 2.3 liter motor with a 6750 redline. at the stock 15.6psi peak power came around 5800 and by 6200 the car was making less power than 3000 and less than 11psi of boost. the placement of the turbo was good. after doing a CBE and test pipe (factory DP) it was slightly better but struggled to hold boost.
the biggest issue we had with the K04's were the seals continuously seapped oil and sent huge clouds of smoke out the exhaust at idle.
id imagine on a smaller engine it'd do better as far as efficiency goes. it can provide more boost over a greater powerband without losing too much steam.
and aren't those diverter valves one of the first things your supposed to change on those cars?!?!? and don't some require frequent cleaning for proper function?
