It's not that you are doing anything wrong, you've just over boosted your editing. You want your images to pop, but you don't want to take it so far you lose detail.Quote:

but it scaled it down, softened it, and distorted it
i dont get the point? i think it looks better with no edit then softened

thanks, simple layer job. Top was contrasted to hell, erased the bits that looked like crap (the car didnt look good highly contrasted.) Bottom layer contrasted lightly, with a hue change. Erased the car from the highly contrasted layer and thus we have that.Quote:

Brandon, you would benefit i think from knowing how to use layers first and foremost. You can make multiple layers, adjust each layers contrast and then delete what you dont like about them to allow what you like from previous layers to show.
