PITA. Drilled my holes, laid the hood down. Dremeled the bottom out more. Then the top. Then the bottom. Then the top. Then the bottom again. It finally set down all the way, so I start drilling for the hex screws for the metal hood protectors. Oh yeahhhh. Last night, I got a ticket off Buford Hwy for my headlight being out. Cop was real chill, 'cause I was completely honest with him: I hit a deer, I'm waiting on parts, my fiance is a drunk stripper.
I just went out to the garage to fix the lights. Turns out the spade terminals in the headlight connector are completely oxidized/burned out.
I temporarily fixed the problem by cutting the terminals off and soldering new spades on. So now my headlights work again, atleast. Not a permanent fix, but it'll do until I pick up a new connector or HID kit.
Anyone going to the Alpharetta meet on Thursday?? I know a couple of you said something about it on Friday....
