Default **Up and coming car show**

I work at RnR Wheels and Tires in Montgomery Alabama. I was recently assigned to put together a carshow at Montgomery Motorsports Park. Im trying to get a feel of who would be interested in coming out. This is my first time putting together a car show of this size. There will be test and tune, sound competition if i can get CKR to come out. A few vendors of ours are comming out, and i am working on getting a few local vendors to come as well. Of course there will be a burnout competition, MAYBE some kind of hot body contest. There will be, as well, prizes for different categories of the car show (Hottest import will be one, fastest show car, best work in progress, and best sleeper to name a few. What i am doing right now is putting feelers out to see who would be interested in coming out. It will be held within the next month and a half, i am waiting for the owner of the track to call me back and set up a meeting to get everything squared away. My district manager informed me if this does well, he will let me do a carshow once every three months. Suggestions welcome...

**Keep in mind that this is a rim shop. So there will be "Donks" and cars/trucks on big wheels attending as well. This is not just an import show (yet, if this one goes well i can start targeting events towards certain groups of auto enthusiast)

    Bikes are welcome as well.**

    Thanks! Bobby W.

The event sounds nice, but the drive doesn't. I say you throw the event, but try and find people closer to your area to attend. 4 hours to drive to a car show? sorry I try not to commute more than an hour and a half one way to a 1 day event.

^^ Yeah, I drew a frame of a man running on each fan blade. That is him running at idle

what im liking that i see every once in awhile now is a "race car" class.

pretty much at the show your car must have a 10 second slip/be a full blown road course car(stripped, caged, ect...) to enter that class and it is judged just like the rest of the show cars

I do understand that it is a good distance away. (Its about a 2 hr drive from here to my hometown, Lilburn) I have been posting feelers on every forum i could think of just to see what kind of out-of-town presense would be generated.

As far as the race car class. It sounds interesting. Sounds like something i would like to do. S&W automotive send me a PM of how you would do this class. Im not afraid to ask for help, lol, so would you help me out and go into a little more detail?

    Thanks for the feedback guys

    Default hi

Hi we would be interested in being a vendor at your show. How much would that cost us? When would the show be? I just recently started helping them out so I have no experience in the field either but would love to learn!
