April 6th Car show

Hey all. We here at audio wizards are hosting a car show and Db Drag comp at our show on Sunday April 6th. its an official Db Drag points event and we are doing a full show with 4 classes. Stock, Modded, Classic, and Truck classes. There are trophies for all classes as well as best of show and club participation. The fees are $10 for the show and shine and $20 for Db Drag (Db Drag Cd Included). it should be fun. It'll be outside, earplugs wont be neccessary. we are having a DJ all day and food so it should be a good time. The show starts at 11, registration starts at 10. We'll see you there!

yea, i was pissed as ****, i know my car wasnt the best one out there by far but that judgeing was hacked... i had the 2-tone FULLY MOLDED/SHAVED/KITTED/FULL CUSTOM TRUNK and SWAPPED and got beat by a bone ****in stock civic with a system and a intake. wtf. deff pissed at that show

To each his own though. I know I had a great time and enjoyed meeting/talking with alot of new people.

I hope to see everyone this Saturday at the Hooters Show in Gwinnett. The show is from 11:00am - 5:00pm.

The car show was organized good, and very well put togeather in my honest opinion, but like I said as far as the judging went, I thought it was a little biast. Nevertheless, that is what we in the car show world have to put up with.

Why everyone has to be bashing my vic, I did not make the judges give me the trophies and as the guy said, it is basically a matter of opinion. I thought there we alot of car cars that had more than me and definately looked hotter. I had a great time, I saw alot of cool cars met alot of cool people and that is what really counts to me. Oh and teh G35 came in 2nd in the stock not 1st

Just because someone has a ton of mods or a black card with money to burn doesnt automatically mean you should win??? ive gone to many sq and SQ+ even where a guy with a $3000 system has beat out a $120,000 full car show system with fiberglass and the works. Me personally id pick a car with clean body lines and minor detail then a car with lambo door and air bags and **** like that, its all in the eyes of the judge. Not every judge wanted to see a c-west body kit and etc etc etc. if you didnt win their is always next time no nead to bash the next man their always another show.

+1 I know it seems like we are all bashing on his Civic, but I think in all honesty, a lot of people were just thrown back by the outcome. I dont think many people looked at it in your perspective, myself being one of them. It was my first car show, and the first time I showed my car, so I guess my anticipation was high, and so I apologize to the owner of the Black Civic that won, for any comments or bashing that I might have done.

On another note, it was a great show and I cant wait to see everyone at the next one!

Like someone in a previous reply stated....Judges are going to be looking for different things. Some want a wild looking car, some want a car that looks like $100,000.00 was put into it, and others want a car that has been cleaned with a toothbrush. I think there were alot of good looking cars there that deserved the award, but the judges gave the award to the car that they thought represented the best in show. It may not be what we would be looking for if we were judges but then again....."To Each His Own"
