    Default March 16, 2008 Ga G&Z meet

    March 16, 2008 Georgia G&Z meeting will be held at 3pm at the parking deck at Taco Mac. Due to March Madness, we will be eating at Five Guys (a burger joint). This is the same parking deck as the February meet.

    Location: Lindbergh City Center @ the MARTA Station

    The parking deck is behind Chili's and Longhorn on Piedmont Ave just south of Sidney Marcus (southernmost exit for Ga400). The Five Guys is accessible from the elevator on the back side of the parking deck (close to the Marta station).

    We will meet on the 4th floor of the parking deck unless the weather is good (then we meet on the roof).
    What this means is:
    --As you go into the parking deck (it is behind the Chili's and Longhorn), take a ticket and go into the parking deck.
    --Go up towards the Marta area.
    --On the 3rd floor of the parking deck, you will see another ticketing machine.
    --Stick your parking ticket into the 3rd floor machine and wait for the ticket to come back out. Nothing will print on the ticket.
    --Proceed up to the 4th floor.
    --We will park away from the elevators as this is a large area for parking together.

    --When you leave, you will stick the ticket back into the ticketing machine and then give it to the booth on your way out of the deck.

    Please RSVP if you are able to make it (and if you are bringing guests).

    Due to March Madness, we will be eating at Five Guys (a burger joint) that is accessible from the parking deck.

    If the weather is good, we will be on the roof of the deck.

    just to let you guys know, that sunday is the datsun nissan infiniti shootout at reynolds (formerly the southeastern z car shootout) so a ton of us are going to be there for that event

    why dont we hold the meet at the silver dollar raceway? i know its alot futher, really far for me, but if we don the meet will be crappy im sure, seeing how a bunch of us will probably go to the shootout. food for thought.

    man i dont know where to go. i want to go to the sdr because well.... i havent been to the track in a while but then again i dont want to miss out on the people that dont want to go down and drive all that way.... ugh...whores...

    ^ why dont we just use my idea. kill 2 birds w/ one stone. should be even closer for all those conyers people. either that or can we move the meet to the next sunday? or a different day period? that would fix the problem. food for thought.

    this is not the only site we have this posted and not the official site were we make decisions. it not as simple as just changing the time and place. we figured a long time ago the 3rd sunday at 3pm is when most people have off work and have done their sunday morning brunch and chruch. this is just a bad month where someone is having another Nis and Inf meet in ga.

    Anyone still going??? Hmm??

    I'm thinking of an ALL Nissan/Infiniti meet scheduled on a Sunday in April.

    Just need to think of a location. If anyone is for it let me know I'll post a thread and remember to relay it to the other forums

    yes people are still going some people from tenn are coming down. and a few new people. most of us are meet at the V at 8ish leaving for SDR at 830 sharp for the DNI SDR shootout then some of us are coming back for this meet.

    i dont think there is a need to try to start another nissan infiniti meet since this G and Z monthly meets are basicly that anyways. people have moved on and have sold there Gs and Zs and still come with there P cars and BMWs so really all are welcome.

    i think im leaving SDR around 1-1:30 that should give us plently of time to get there. it wont matter if we're late, everyone else always is.. lol
