    Default Atlanta Dragway Meet 3/7(CANCELED TIL 14th)

    The 1st Test&Tune opens up at the Atl dragway on March 7th, 2008! You know I'm definitely gonna be there to see how my car is performing now! I'd like to be there early so I can get as many runs as I can; at least 2-3 because I know it's gonna be jam packed especially on this day.

    Details:
    We gonna meet up at the Grand Buffet in commerce to eat up before we actually enter the gates at the track. During my few visits to the track, I've been going without eating and starving the whole night. This time, I'mma eat good and head on out. Grand Buffet should be on the right side of the street coming from 85 north. Its located right before Xaxby's where there are multiple stores lined up. If you wanna roll together to the restaurant, pm me and we'll cruise on 85 until we hit commerce.

    Time:
    I'mma be there at 5'oclock to munch and crunch and then head out to the track which should be down the road. As soon as we enter the track, lets see how good were gonna do and post our results back on here.
    EDIT: 50/50 chance imma eat.. depends on my boiz if they can make it in time...But if i come eat, ill see whomevers there. Just say wassap..

    Hopefully this meet will be successful! Everybodies gotta eat!

    Pm for details/etc.

    IT BETTER NOT RAIN FRIDAY NIGHT!!

    P.S. Anybody know if we can race on Summitt Saturdays?

    im from gwinnett... im pretty positive ill be at the opening test and tune friday. This weekend i have to install my stage 4 clutch and hopefully im tuned by then! lmk if you guys or anyone from gwinnett is going?

    haha that pic is fake.. you can't sit a motor at the edge of the table.. haha But yea, i'm ready to run this SHIETTT! My shiet is pulln harder then before.. I know I'll be able to get a better time. Yall racers just don't forget to pump 93 and change your oil! Mobil 1 ALL THE WAY!!

    i just made a thread......we gonna meet in the toys r us parking lot at the mall of georgia (weather permits)....but for the later crowd.....ill still be at work at 4.....we leave at 630......1

    6:30pm is too late especially if its gonna be packed at the track on a fri night if it don't rain. The mall of GA is 20 minutes away from me in the opposite direction instead of hittn up the track. We all could meet up somewhere closer 85 north. How about chateau elam? Publix? exit 126! Track opens at 6:30.. I'd like to be there b4 6pm.

    If your gonna race...
    **Don't wear shorts
    **D.O.T helmet if you run faster then 14.0 in the 1/4 Otherwise they'll tell you to slow down or stop racing.
    **Battery tie down your battery{make sure it doesn't move one bit}
    **Anything faster then 12's; I think you need a rollcage
    **Bring cash for your ticket
    **Bring a pen to fill out your Tech inspection form
    **Make sure all your lug nuts are on your wheels! They won't let you run if your missing any.
    **Bring snacks, drinks or eat dinner before you come. Food is expensive like in the movie theatres


    P.S make sure you have just *enough* gas to run that night. I always have a little under half to take some weight off the car.

    I never got kicked out because I quit racing after I ran almost 3 times without a helmet. HAHA The guy that gives you the timeslip told me to slow down or else I couldn't race anymore. I went back to race and came back to the same guy that gives you the timeslip & that time I ran a faster time.. hahahahah He just smiled and after that I just stopped racing and became a spectator. There's no point in racing and having to brake before you hit 13's. no point!! My advice is to get a cheap helmet for like 30 bucks or just go all out in the races you can get!

    2morrow morning its gonna have to be someones duty to call the track and let every1 know if its closed.......as of rite now i heard its gonna be closed due to weather!!!! ......1
