I need directions to the park, or the name of the park so I can Mapquest. I'm sure it's been listed before but I don't feel like looking. And since I'm bringing the charcoal to cook ya'lls food with I suggest someone post up.

Rain moving in by noon and Thunderstorms in the early afternoon followed by scattered showers during the evening hours.
Sounding a little scary as of right now and the forecast has not changed in the last 10 days for Sunday. If it holds and there is a 60% chance of thunderstorms do we have a rain date or gonna still try and do the cook out?
Only because we were both going to be there...Quote:

You guy's make the call and we will do our best to be there either way.
Oh and BTW... Any of you have ATVs by any chance?

I have been in them many times during storms on the lake and off the lake and neither were enjoyable times. I know exactly what it is and where it is unlike most of the people on here that are asking where it is. We have camped in this park 20-25 times in the last few years and the pavilions there are tiny compared to what I was stuck under.Quote:

Not trying to blow the party believe me we have been looking forward to this for several weeks but just trying to point out the obvious.
Here are a few shots for the ones that have never been there. It is an awesome place for a cookout and to enjoy the outdoors.
