north ga meet and drag!! ALL WELCOME!!!

Hey guys im trying to get together a north ga meets in dalton followed by a drive up to the drag stripe for some fun. anyone interest let me know. it'll be on jan. 29th. at magic carpet kingdom in dalton off 41 then drive up to brainard drag stipe. i want a good turnout so you atl guy and tn guy hit me up!! i'll start the list with myself and a few locals

Are you sure that Brainerd will be open then. I thought it opened in the early spring. I live in Ringgold. I drive past it every day to and from work. I am not sure on the exact opeing date, but if you can check into it, I would come out. I mean it is only a 10 minute drive for me.

Actually it is Come on Up...I live about 10 minutes South. I will be there, but he needs to make sure it is open, because it is not open year round.

So let me get the straight, you want me to drive (DOWN) to Dalton (or as some call it, LITTLE MEXICO) to meet with everyone, then drive (UP) toe the track, and then drive back (DOWN) to Ringold again?

from the heart of atl google says 90 miles which isn't really that long of a drive. i've made to atl in 45 minutes

Well crap...I did not even thing to check the date. Since it is on a Tuesday I will not be able to make it. I bowl every Tuesday night, so that eliminates the tuesday thing.

If you were smart you would make the meet for the friday night TnT. That way the people that want to come up from Atl, will not have to worry about the drive back home and going to work or school on Wed morning. Just an idea. I know I get pissed when I have to wake up early from a V meet the 1st of every month. Hour and a half drive after all the excite met at the V wears me out. Not to mention about another 5-6 hours driving at work.

So all in favor of a Friday night TnT speak up and get together on a weekend
Oh FYI it is $5 to watch or $20 for unlimited runs.

Don't need to say sorry to me. I live 10 minutes from teh track, You need to think about the rest of the people that are driving up from ATL, and to this track...I will say it is not even worh the trip on any dayof the week, but it is all we have up here. I will drive to a 1/4 mile track in ATL (I.E. Commerce or Silver Dollar or down to Alabama at Steal)

But if you want to have a meet, Tuesdays are not the best time to do it. Best of luck though !!!

And if you are not able to ask for Fridays off, you need to tell your boss he can hug a nut, that is not right. Noone has ever or will ever tell me what days I can or can not ask off. If I have a legit reason, I will quit a job if they are not gonna at least consider the reason I asked for a certain day off. You employeer is an a$$hole !!!! Tell him I said so.
