ok. im almost done with everything i had to do. i figured i check in to see whats going on before bleeding the brakes.

So the event is 100% going down. just like BannanaFTW said, be there at 8:45 SHARP. we will be in the back of the lot. Please if u can, bring a walkie/radio with u. (extras if u have them.) we will follow each other up there in no order but when we get there please get in a group.i think we need to have a group of experienced, a average, and a first time group so we can all go at our own pace. also, i would like everyone to be aware that the roads my have wet spots when we get there so take ur time. this isnt a race its a mtn drive.

everyone check ur oil, trans, diff, and tires. i really dont want to have to give someone a ride back because of a failure they could have prevented.

YES, there will be rain. the weather shows rain in the AM and nothing but clear sky by the time we get up there. again my cell is 404-455-2784. let me know if u need anything tonite. i will be in the EF race car so just come talk to me. hope everyone can make it!

Hey ill call you in the morning. Im gonna meet yall on Limestone Pkwy which is the road yall are taking on the right after getting off and taking a left at exit 24. Ill call you anyway in the morning. Gotta get up about 3-4am to wash/wax clean etc.

ALso another good thing guys if youre prone to filling your tires to max, check them again when we get in the mountains and let a little air ou as to what you see fit. Elevation rise makes your psi in the tires go up, so make sure you dont take a chance of blowing a tire.

nitrogen filled for me. lol

Well i and a lot of people are not lol. How much do they charge to fill each tires up with nitrogen? $5 a tire?

Well so far weather.com has lied about the rain at my house for 5 hours, so maybe thats the case in the mountains too. It said it was supposed to be raining since 11pm here, but it hasnt, so maybe it wont be right for the mountains anyway. Off to wash my car in the cold, see yall in a bit.

Weather should be decent so far no showers here in gillsville, and fox5 says it shouldnt rain for the most part in north ga today, most of the rainfall is oging to be to our south, around atlanta, macon, athens, ect. This was from their website.

Raining here in gainesville. One friend (miata) says hes out, im trying to get a ahold of somebody that lives up in dawsonville where i used to live, about 15 minutes from the mountain...

I guess we'll see. I don't mind some wet spots, but rain just makes it no fun for me even if its just crusin'.

I went back to bed and slept until ab out 11:30. It was pouring all morning here. And its still lightly raining. Friend in Dvill said it came down hard this morning, and although i know we can just cruise, i just don't like driving around a lot in the rain.

Next time it's dry i'll be there.

i live in dahlonega and its been raining since last night and is still raining now at almost 3pm lol.
