GPD came and told us to leave last gwinnett meet. Talked to the officer and he just said that if we get written permission to be there... we can stay. Well since Winter is here, and the meets has gotten a lot smaller. We need to vote on a new location. I was thinking we should try out a local sports bar/grill. We can keep warm, drink beer, eat some good food, watch football, and talk. Please vote for what we should do....

Tim at cornerstone grill said he is fine with us hanging out in the parking lot.. he actully encouraged us to have meets there again...

plus he said he will even block off an area just for us...

i say find a parking lot somewhere..........so they kicked us outta the Kmart spot........then across the street by the wendys.......we moved to petco and get the boot......then in front of hhgregg we also get the boot.........lets just move farther down P HILL until we end up in south carolina

Thought car meets were supposed to be just that. Car meets, no bar/grill or anything of that sort. Back in the day people would stop first and buy what they needed; drinks, snacks, cigs, ect. A car meet should have/be nothing more than a place where cars are parked and people are walking around either giving props or clowning at them.

And it would be if doing that didn't get everyone kicked out of just about every spot. People stand around, leave trash, make noise with ****ty systems and it attracts the cops. Sometimes it's a good idea to have permission to meet somewhere and not just stand around but give them a little business so they continue to extend that permission.

Most businesses are not happy about people just hanging out in their parking lots, that's a pretty simple thing to understand. It seems like every decent meet lasts for a little while and is shut down. That's how it's been for years but it's good to at least try to find something that can be regular for a long time.

if applebee's parking lot wasnt so small id say go there. me and my crew go there all tha time. you could try tgi fridays or georgia dinner i know they need buisness..and diner is 24hours.

i personally know the GA dinner owners and i doubt they would want to their already small parking lot taken up by us (and rite off p-hill rd...cops ftw), but they do have about 20 spots behind the building that usually stay empty. I can run it a through them and see wasup. I still say screw the bars and grills....lets just do it at a parking lot like i said. Just put some extra clothes on and lets do it everyother thurdsays instead of every thrusday. The lot i have in mind has good 100+ empty spots most of the time.

Everyone can get into hooters. I think its a pretty good idea except hooters is PACKED all the time. at diggers we can get the heated patio. Its a HUGE patio too.

You stay where? Exactly, this isn't your nor anyone else'es concern. The people from Gwinnett will figure something out. If they don't that just shows how educated this new generation of car enthusiast are. And with that, im out of this thread. Good luck to you guys.

ps; I passed threw this past thursday, only saw acouple cars so I kept going. Maybe next time.
