And it would be if doing that didn't get everyone kicked out of just about every spot. People stand around, leave trash, make noise with ****ty systems and it attracts the cops. Sometimes it's a good idea to have permission to meet somewhere and not just stand around but give them a little business so they continue to extend that permission.
Most businesses are not happy about people just hanging out in their parking lots, that's a pretty simple thing to understand. It seems like every decent meet lasts for a little while and is shut down. That's how it's been for years but it's good to at least try to find something that can be regular for a long time.
