ahhh there was a turboed 240(go figure) riding around last night near the mall, i think it was a tanned color and newer model.

oh and simon even though it doesnt really make any more power past 7000 rpm, if you shift at 8000 it drops right into the nice part of the 1.8 power curve

i had it running and drove it the past 3 days, but yesterday i was coming home,....maybe an 8th mile from my house, and hear two loud bangs under the hood, then a scary roaring sound from engine.....pull in the yard, pop hood, look and I have no V-belt, and the serp belt was laying on my valve cover, and the crank pulley....gone. So I found the pulley and the bolt, but am still missing the key for the pulley. Went today, and got new belts. Just gotta get a key for the pulley.

Rusty, did the car run funny after the belts had snapped?

haha yeah we have plenty Honda Belts laying around, and the Keys for teh pulley. sure. I work at a CHEVY DEALERSHIP lol

Well at least you can put it back on. When you come down this way on the 13th, you gotta stop by my place and see the block where I sheared the pulley off the crankshaft.

And Rusty, I'll look to see if I still have the key for that pulley. Its likely still jammed in there, so I have no idea what kind of bull**** you'll have to pull to get it back out.

rusty, just use one of those chevy belts and tie a few knots it in, it should work right? lol

Chevy and Honda parts are actually interchangable (spelling I know)
