back when no one couldn't tell me anything about subies, I had a total of 4, 2 fwd's, 2 4wd's, one of them was turbo. The turbo one I had I bought for $75, but it was considered to be totaled due to the rear door had been pushed in from a car accident. I used to take that one behind the old cub foods back in Colorado Springs and go off roading. There were mud spots and inclines and declines and ridges and stuff. So one day I go back there and it just rained. There was a huge puddle of water. I started smiling and I floor it. I go through the puddle and BAM! I hit a rock in the puddle. I drive out of it with the steering wheel shaking. 2 days later, the LF wheel falls off. Great fun!!!

come up here with me north of Dahlonega and I will pull out the vr4 galant and show you some shiiiiiiiiiiiit. Lots of open dirt roads for either mudding and straight up rally practice. Just let me know and everyone can come up, get muddy, get sideways, and get drunk..........(afterwards of course). LMK and I can get a couple of trails blocked off.
How rutty are your trails up there? This sounds like a good plan.
can be bumpy but I take a stock suspensioned 91 vr4 up and down some of these mountains with no problem other than the windshield wipers coming on because of the bumps. I like going out towards Camp Merill which is the Army rangers training post. Since I am in the army I visit there often but the camp is part of the Chattahoochee national forest and civilians can get on the base but the fun roads are just outside the base in the national forest going up the mountains and down the mountains.....that is where the fun is.....Some of the wrxatl guys come up here on occasion but I think they stay on the tarmac(rally talk for road). Yeah guys just let me know and we can go. Really easy to get to.
+1, FTW.Quote:

This is a good idea. Location is definitely a big problem though. I'm in if this ever happens.
make sure to find somewhere w/ not much gravel...don't want ur paint f'd up...but i'm in w/ the fozz
when is this going down
I'm still down.
There's a long ass dirt road near Cartersville, GA. It's mainly used by rednecks with big trucks to go off roading back there, but the main road isn't that bad at all. Although it is dirt so there is the occasional dips and bumps, and it's been bone dry, so there's no mud. I've been back there a few times in my stock AE86 and it handles fine in the bumps, although my suspension is far from stiff. If anyone's up to scout the road, I'll be glad to go with, just lemme know.
not cartersville i won't, lol.....i have tons of fs road here on the russell wildlife management area, but them being that makes them have nice rangers everywhere...
