GAINESVILLE/OAKWOOD-SONIC MEET

ok... JDMjoe86 thinks i'm being a bitch but w/e. I say the one off dawsonville hwy is not a good place for a meet because:

A) its packed out on a sat.( i say sat. cause i have to go to school and sat. meet would be far easier for most folks) and the only parking places are at the little ordering booths.
B) there is no overflow parking... what you see is what you get. if we get more than 3 people i dont really know where we would go.

but the one in oakwood has literally an entire ace hardware parking lot on the other side of the median. if anyone is coming down 985 south its an extra 3 minutes, and if your coming from 985 north then its quicker. but come on... some of you people drive an hour to get to Varsity

Well here is our view. Yes that is true parking is not so good. But we will more than likely NOT be having one on Sat., just for the fact that towards this coming weekend there are like 3 different meets that people are going to. Now I dont mind driving to Oakwood like I said, but it will probably more than likely be Wed. either way. Now if it could be Sat that would be cool....but these kinds of things have to be meant for a populace and not one person. I would like to have one on Labor Day, but most people are already doing something with their family, friends, etc.

yeah the day is not that important a vote would be sufficient for that... i was thinking like a few saturdays down the road like after nopi, but this is joes thread... im just a follower. any day is cool, a sat would be awesome for me i guess i should say, but there are plenty of people that trump me like folks coming from dalonegha (sp??) and stuff... but w/e im subject to the peoples opinion!!! haha
