Holy Crap! Bad Ass! Everything about that movie was great... the fights were intense, you could feel the depression heartache and love. Just awesome all around.

I saw it yesterday. Every actor in this movie played their part SO well. It was an amazing movie.
what is it?
its a true story about a boxer who lost everything during the depression, including is boxing liscense. he was given a second chance to fight (which he did so his family could stay together) and became an icon of hope for us citizens in the lowest point in our history. Like i said, this movie blew me away.
and its nothing like rocky... so much better.

IMHO...feel good movie of the year...I believe it will win many awards.
It was good..oh..and i really did feel every hit in the boxin scenes. The girl I went with clutched my arm or hand or both and tighetened with every hit. Did'nt matter who was gettin hit. And it's not like a pulse..no, she never lost grip. My hand was purple and i have 2 scars from her nails where she dug in and made my arm bleed. Not to self...never go see a scary movie with this girl.
