They're going to have EVERY single Mortal Kombat character from EVERY Mortal Kombat game ever made!!

It will be coming out for the first XBox (and rumor has it, possibly for Nintendo Wii).

Also featured are Create–A–Fighter mode, Create–A–Fatality mode, and a brand new Konquest mode.

Armageddon lets you define your fighting styles, right down to the attack associated with each button. Another thing we knew was important was to let players take their created fighter and go online against other created fighters.

If they have as in-depth a system as Soul Caliber did then this will kick major @ss.

Plus, since this final chapter is all about the final epic battle we need to explain what happens to EVERYONE, which means leaving no stone unturned.

Does this mean that this is the last MK Game?

Deception was okay, but this one really supposed to be good. The new Konquest mode is supposed to play a lot like Shaolin Monks and have an actual storyline. Unlike that craptastic Konquest mode in Deception. Buddy says that his only beef with the game is that you can only create one custom character per profile. You can create like 10 profiles tho.

Not necessarily. Also keep in mind that characters have alternate costumes. One of his alternate costumes could be his live version. Also note that the XBOX and PS2 get the male Chameleon, while the Wii gets the female Kameleon. Same character, just different sexes.

ok just got mine today and i have been kinda fooling around with it konquest is def better than deception although the racing game sucks on it they should have kept that like they should have kept the chess on the last one. the krypt is alot better to where you can acutally see what you want to buy versus on deception where you just had to guess. all and all i say its worth the 40 bucks

im in konquest mode now trying to earn some koins from reading the walkthroughs i have missed a few items the star wars light sword you get to do in sektors ship is sweet. but i still cant figure out how to do these damn fatalities

any updates yet ppl in konquest mode i have made it to the lin kuei palace def a better konquest than deadly alliance only thing i dont like is you cant go backwards incase you missed something but that may be a good thing because i was lost like hell in deadly alliance walking around in circles and shit.

My PS2 broke so I've been trying to play it on my housemate's PS2. The fatalities aren't bad, but the combo fatality system takes some getting used to. I haven't made it far in the conquest mode, but it's a hell of a lot better than the one in Deception. Also, the create-a-fighter is cool as hell.

man post up a fatalite for me cause when i try one on vs. mode i dont get shit i cant even start one for some reason the button combos i try from a site i posted earlier dont seem to work or im a dumass and cant do them

Forward Foward Triangle = Rip out Heart
Up Up Triangle = Smash Head
Down Down Triangle = Rip Off Arm

That's all I know so far. I ripped a guy in half once, but not sure how I did it. The fatalities work as a combos. The timer at the top is how long you have to input the command. You can do up to 7 fatal moves, each one requiring a different command. I'm not sure if the characters have set Fatalities anymore. Also, some characters like Shao Khan, don't have any fatalities.

Okay, the endings on this game are really f*cking gay. Character endings aren't video clips like that used to be. Now they're just the characters talking with the fighter doing moves in the background. Even the Konquest mode was a let down at the end. I gotta admit, this was a major letdown. At least the create-a-fighter bit is cool.

yea this one sucks........im pissed.....the fatality system is weak...now everyone has the same shiet...that was one thing that made characters unique.....the fighting is weak, the characters only have one fighting style and there weapons..... the only thing that is good about the game is the create a character.

That fatality system is okay, but I do agree that unique fatalities made the characters unique. It would have been a lot better if each character had at least one special fatality just for them.
